Outdoor

TILLES PARK (SOUTH CITY)

Tilles Park in South St. Louis City on Hampton Ave and Fyler/Marquette Aves (not the Tilles Park on McKnight) is now open for pickleball as the area's first permanent multicourt pickleball complex.  6 excellent outdoor courts with dedicated nets/lines!

Tilles Park is open from 6 am - 10 pm.  However there are no outdoor lights for evening play.  A water fountain and bathrooms are available nearby the courts. 

BEST TIME TO PLAY: There are usually pickup games any time the weather is nice, particularly around 9 a.m. or 5 p.m.

Missouri Pickleball Club (MPC)

Largest Indoor Pickleball "only" Club in America!

18 permanent indoor courts individually fenced on tennis court surface including 5 Championship size courts.  Open Plays, Clinics, Events, Court Reservations, Leagues, Tournaments and one of the largest pro-shops in the Midwest.  Professional Instructors and staff to help you build and grow your game.

BEST TIME TO PLAY: Any open play sessions are managed courts for all skill levels 2.5-5.0+. RSVP on their website.

TOWER GROVE PARK

Tower Grove Park is the largest outdoor pickleball venue in the St. Louis region. Eight dedicated, permanent, lighted courts make Tower Grove a great destination for all skill level pickleball players. 

 

Courts are open daily from 7 am - 10 pm during warm weather.  Lights not on in the evenings when cold.

BEST TIME TO PLAY: M-W-F open play all levels, Thurs open play 4.0+.  When there is no open play, this is a great place to organize your own foursome and come play.

DWIGHT DAVIS (FOREST PARK)

 

There are four dedicated outdoor courts with 19 tennis courts that can be made available for pickleball upon demand.  Reservations accepted.  Restrooms, locker rooms, water and ice machine, on-site shop with equipment, food and drinks. Paddles available for use, bring your own balls.

BEST TIME TO PLAY: Open Play April through September on Thursdays 9AM-12 PM and Saturdays 9AM-12 PM.  If you want to reserve a court for a private group, this is an excellent venue offering reasonable prices.

SUNSET TENNIS CENTER

Open October through April, Sunset Tennis Center has 6 dedicated pickleball courts with brand new lighting for winter 2021/2022.  Organized play, beginner clinics, events, private court reservations, concessions and locker rooms

FRONTENAC RACQUET CLUB

Two indoor tennis courts with two pickleball courts on each (4 courts in total) with portable nets on wheels

Pickleball membership is required for the indoor season

Membership prices: Individual $130 plus tax

Couples $195 plus tax

If you have a tennis membership with Frontenac Racquet Club or Woodsmill Tennis club pickleball is included and not an additional fee.

Membership allows you to join open play, reserve random court time and book permanent court time. 

Random court time is $40 (plus Tax) per hour per tennis court (two pickleball courts)

No pickleball court time available after 3:30 pm weekdays and none on the weekend.

Permanent court time for 1 hour is billed $288 plus tax per 9 week sessions. This amount is divided among the players reserving the same court and time every week.  Sessions may be prorated depending on start and end date.

Member only Open play 11a-12:30p Tuesday and Thursdays - Beginner/Intermediate $10.

Random court time $40 per hour for two pickleball courts on one tennis court

Permanent court time $32 per hour for two pickleball courts on one tennis court (must book 8 week sessions)

 

Court rental time is available mostly during the morning or day, no evening pickleball available

Some Saturday evenings available for Pickleball Party bookings

There are six new, free, dedicated outdoor courts, first come first served.  Restrooms, water fountain.  Bring your own paddles and balls.  Lighted courts open 6AM-10PM.

BEST TIME TO PLAY: There is always a lively group on weekday evenings from 5:30 on.  Best to organize your own group as there is not much pick-up play.

Open October through April, Vetta Racquet Sports has 2 locations for mult-court indoor play with up to 12 courts at each location on tennis court surface with painted pickleball lines.  Premium services including organized play, beginner clinics, events, balls, demo paddles, lessons, private court reservations, full-service bar, etc.

BEST TIME TO PLAY: The open play on Thursday afternoon and Friday evening are great.

SALVATION ARMY

The Salvation Army on Union Road has a thriving pickleball community.  With brand new lighting in 2019, there is well-attended open play and often the ability to rent courts for a reasonable fee for special events or private group play. 

BEST TIME TO PLAY: Open play for ladies only Tuesday mornings 9-12 and awesome Friday morning open play for all.
