What's your pickleball skill-level rating?

As an USAPA Ambassador, many times I am asked, "What skill level am I" when a player is trying to figure out where they rate in comparison the USAPA rating scale which is associated with a lot of skill-level tournaments. Even in open-play venues we'll find there is a lot of uncertainty for players who are trying to organize competitive games with similar level players. Often the terms "Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced Levels" are used to try to help players separate themselves in skill specific games. Pickleball is more than just a sport. It is also a community of people who love to play a fun game, master the finer points and strategies of playing, and smile at the end of a game by tapping paddles and having a good laugh.. win or lose. We are still evolving as a sport and as a community in the St. Louis area. Personally, my wife Ann and I have just hit our year anniversary with playing the game.
